Registrations are open for the 2027 3×3 Open, with teams from across Australia invited to compete at Selkirk Stadium in Ballarat, Victoria, on 30–31 January 2027.
Following the return of the national event in 2026, the 3×3 Open is back for another year, giving athletes and teams the chance to compete in a national 3×3 environment, earn FIBA 3×3 ranking points and gain valuable competition experience.
The two-day event is expected to feature Under-17, Under-23 and Open divisions, subject to entries, with teams from across the country encouraged to get involved.
The pathway potential of the event was highlighted in 2026, when members of the winning men’s team went on to compete internationally, with Devan Craig and Keegan Phillips representing Perth at Japan’s Shibuya Challenger.
Alongside teammate Will Mahoney, both players were also selected to represent Australia at the FIBA 3×3 U23 World Cup, highlighting the opportunities available to emerging talent in the 3×3 space.
Basketball Australia High Performance staff are also expected to attend, subject to availability, to observe emerging talent as part of future pathway planning.
Whether you’re returning for another crack or getting your squad together for the first time, the 2027 3×3 Open is a chance to test yourself against teams from around Australia.
