Gilas Pilipinas U23 women secured a spot in the FIBA 3×3 U23 World Cup after winning the FIBA 3×3 Nations League-Asia SEA Conference in Malaysia.

The Philippine team clinched the conference title after beating Chinese Taipei, 17-15, in the Stop 6 final, finishing with 510 points — 30 ahead of Chinese Taipei.

Gilas Pilipinas U23 women won Stops 1, 3 and 6 to claim the overall championship and earn a ticket to the world tournament in Wuhan, China.

The Filipinas joined the Philippine U21 men’s team as the country’s representatives in the FIBA 3×3 U23 World Cup.

The qualification marks another international milestone for Philippine women’s 3×3 basketball as the team secured its place among the world’s top U23 squads.
