Former Indiana Fever guard Aerial Powers shared an update about representing the United States in international competition. Powers posted about her experience suiting up for Team USA in three FIBA 3×3 events in August.

Powers, who last played for the Fever last season, expressed her gratitude for the honor of donning a Team USA jersey. She posted some of her favorite photos from the competition on social media.

“3 different countries in 30 days. What a blessing 💕,” Powers captioned her Instagram post. “Here are some pics that warmed my heart so I wanted to share 🔥. Next vlog posting 2morrow😘”

Powers joined Madison Scott, Mikayla Blakes and Taylor Bigby on the national team roster. They played in the FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series in Tokyo, Bordeaux, and Debrecen. The Americans’ best finish came in Bordeaux, where they placed third. Powers’ best performance came in Debrecen, where she scored nine points in the game.

The 5-foot-8 guard played a combined 10 games in the WNBA last season. She suited up twice for the Golden State Valkyries before playing eight games for the Fever towards the end of the 2025 season.

Powers wasn’t able to secure a new deal with any WNBA team in the offseason, which ultimately resulted in the fifth overall pick in the 2015 draft signing with Turkish club Canakkale Belediyespor. The 2019 WNBA champion and former All-Rookie Team selection then spent time with Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball in late 2025.

Powers averaged 7.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 16.7 minutes per game in her last season in the WNBA.

1xBet shares 5 reasons not to miss the FIBA 3×3 Europe Cup https://3x3ce.org/1xbet-shares-5-reasons-not-to-miss-the-fiba-3x3-europe-cup/ Tue, 01 Sep 2026 15:34:12 +0000 https://3x3ce.org/1xbet-shares-5-reasons-not-to-miss-the-fiba-3x3-europe-cup/

In this article, 1xBet highlights five reasons why the FIBA 3×3 Europe Cup 2026 in Antwerp is an event worth following, from its fast-paced format and elite national teams to its unpredictable matches and festival atmosphere.

From September 11 to 13, Antwerp hosts the European 3×3 basketball tournament. Twelve men’s and twelve women’s national teams that made it through the qualifying rounds will compete for the title. The competitive excitement and vibrant urban atmosphere draw a broad audience, while global brand 1xBet, an official FIBA partner, supports the development of basketball and the organization of events on this scale.

Here are the main reasons why basketball fans should keep an eye on the tournament.

First, the level of participants. Some of Europe’s strongest national teams take the court, including Olympic and world champions and medalists. Serbia, the Netherlands, France, Spain, and other basketball powerhouses will bring their strongest lineups. Fans will see some of the best players going all out from start to finish.

Second, the 3×3 format is unique itself; every second counts there. A game on a single basket lasts just 10 minutes or until one team reaches 21 points, and sides have only 12 seconds to set up a play. There’s no time to settle in – possession changes constantly, while lightning-fast drives and long-range shots keep fans on the edge of their seats.

Third, the sheer unpredictability. In traditional basketball, a favorite can recover from a poor quarter. In 3×3, just a couple of bad minutes or a few three-pointers from the underdog can turn the game on its head. Even at tournaments featuring top national teams, lower-ranked sides often take down established giants. This makes every match a real thriller.

Fourth, major basketball festival atmosphere. The FIBA 3×3 Europe Cup blends high-level competition with street culture, live DJ sets, interactive activities, and the unique energy of streetball, creating a real celebration for the fans. The excitement lasts long after the tournament, encouraging people to keep following the sport.

Fifth, a European champion is crowned in just three days. The packed schedule means there are no low-stakes games: every matchup, from the opening minutes of the group stage to the final, matters, and teams can barely afford a single mistake.

That’s why 1xBet actively supports the growth of 3х3 basketball. For those looking to monetize interest in this and other major competitions, the 1xPartners affiliate program offers new partnership opportunities across the sports industry.

The FIBA 3×3 Europe Cup 2026 promises to be an unforgettable experience for players and spectators alike. Make it one to remember with 1xBet, an official FIBA partner.
