The 10^th edition of the FIBA 3×3 Basketball World Cup commences from 1-7 June, as 40 of the best men’s and women’s national teams arrive in Warsaw, Poland.

With a stacked competition of the world’s powerhouses and rising stars, featuring Olympic medallists and contenders, the stage is set for one of the world’s fastest-growing urban sports to shine.

The women’s Team USA will be hoping to secure their fourth World Cup title in history. Their last triumph came in 2023, before being knocked out in the quarter-finals by an exciting Mongolian side last year.

They will face intense competition as holders, the Netherlands, have shown little sign of stopping after already earning their place– alongside heavyweights Spain – for the qualifying pathway to Olympic Games LA 2028.

Off the back of their fourth consecutive FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup win, Australia will also be high on confidence, whilst Paris 2024 champions Germany have continued their steady rise on the international stage.

On the men’s side, Serbia have reached the final seven times in the nine editions of the competition. In their opening game, they face the side that last took the title off them, as reigning champions Spain look to repeat history.

In Pool C, Olympic champions the Netherlands will face one of the fastest-growing teams in Europe in Germany, whilst Pool C will see Team USA begin their quest to win their first World Cup since 2019.
