ANTWERP (Belgium) – Noortje Driessen of the Netherlands capped a dominant FIBA 3×3 Europe Cup Crelan 2026 campaign by being named the Most Valuable Player after leading the Dutch women to back-to-back European titles.

Driessen was the driving force behind the Netherlands’ successful title defense, leading the entire tournament in both scoring and player value as the Dutch once again claimed continental supremacy.

The Netherlands star finished with a tournament-best 44 points and 50.7 player value, while also topping the competition in highlights (19), free throws made (11) and drives (16).

Her all-around dominance proved crucial as the Netherlands navigated the pressure of defending their FIBA 3×3 Europe Cup 2025 crown and ultimately returned to the top of preoverbial the European podium.

Driessen’s consistency and ability to create in a variety of ways made her one of the defining players of the tournament, with her performances providing the spark the Dutch needed throughout their run.

After completing the title defense, Driessen credited the team’s collective work and chemistry for their success.

“We had a really good summer. Last year, we won the gold medal, and I think that’s just our main goal for this tournament because we know what we can do,” Driessen said. “We practice so much together. We all have our own role. Every player on this team is so talented. With the hard work we put in, it’s going pretty good.”

Driessen was joined in the Women’s Team of the Tournament by Spain’s Txell Alarcón and Azerbaijan’s Brianna Fraser, who played key roles in guiding their nations to podium finishes.

For Driessen, the MVP honor provides the perfect individual recognition for a tournament in which she combined elite production with the ultimate team achievement: another Europe Cup gold medal.

MANAMA. Strahinja Stojacic has been named MVP of the FIBA 3×3 World Tour 2025 regular season. The number 1 player in the world earned the award after a season where he led Ub to titles in Marseille, Edmonton and Shenzhen, and added wins in Vienna and Hong Kong.

The MVP was decided by fans and players. Stojacic averaged 6.3 points per game, the fifth best mark on the World Tour for players with at least 20 games, and finished as the second top scorer of the season with 307 points.

He topped the player vote with 16%, tied with Skyliners’ Leon Fertig. Henry Caruso finished third with 14%. Stojacic also led the fan vote with 26%, ahead of Paris standout and World Tour Amsterdam winner Paul Djoko on 17%, and Raudondvaris Hoptrans forward Evaldas Dziaugys on 16%.

This is the third time Stojacic wins the World Tour Season MVP after previous honors in 2022 and 2023. The list of past winners includes Dusan Bulut in 2018, Dominique Jones in 2019, Nauris Miezis in 2020, Karlis Lasmanis in 2021, Worthy de Jong in 2024 and Stojacic in 2022, 2023 and 2025.

SHANGHAI (China) – Laetitia Guapo of France (FRA) capped a dominant weekend with Most Valuable Player honors on September 6, leading her team to the FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series Project Redwings Shanghai Final 2026 title.

Guapo was instrumental in France’s run to the championship, helping them overcome Neftchi SOCAR (AZE) in the Semi-Finals before defeating Rapid Bucharest (ROU) 22-14 in the Final to secure France’s first, biggest and final Women’s Series stop victory of the 2026 season.

The French star was at her best when the pressure peaked, contributing across the board as France controlled the Final and pulled away from Rapid in the closing stages.

Guapo finished the tournament with 30 points, fourth-most overall, while grabbing 22 rebounds, good for third overall. She also recorded seven free throws made, the most of any player in the tournament, and registered two double-fives, tied for second overall.

Her 38.2 player value ranked second overall, underlining the all-around impact that made her such a decisive figure in France’s championship run.

The MVP award adds another major accolade to Guapo’s résumé and caps a memorable Project Redwings Shanghai Final, as France captured their third Women’s Series season championship.

It was the Dr. Strange show in Manama who was unstoppable all tournament. His team-high 36 points and tournament-high player value score of 46.8 showcases his impact on their historic win in Manama. He would take home MVP honors in addition to his regular season MVP award, a dream season in the pro circuit for Strahinja Stojacic.

LAUSANNE (Switzerland) – Fabian Giessmann of Baskets Bonn (GER) delivered a dominant performance at the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Lausanne 2026, earning Most Valuable Player honors after leading his team to their second World Tour title of the season.

Giessmann was at the heart of Baskets Bonn’s perfect run in Lausanne, helping the German side sweep their pool games before powering through the knockout phase and defeating Raudondvaris Hoptrans (LTU) in the Final to lift the trophy.

The big man was simply unstoppable throughout the weekend, finishing with a tournament-best 51 points and 59.2 player value, while also ranking first with 15 dunks and third with 20 highlights.

One of his biggest statements came on Day 1, when Giessmann scored the final three points to seal a dramatic 21-19 victory over Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy (MGL) before following it up with 12 points against Utrecht (NED) to help Baskets Bonn sweep Pool D.

Giessmann’s MVP performance capped a memorable Lausanne campaign for Baskets Bonn, who now have two World Tour titles in 2026 after previously triumphing at WT Amsterdam.

Milutinovic was the driving force behind Liman’s run in Utsunomiya, setting the tone with consistent scoring and shot-making throughout the tournament.

Borovicanin was the driving force behind Hangzhou Jingwei’s remarkable run as they became the fourth different winner across the opening four FIBA 3×3 World Tour stops of the 2026 season.

The 24-year-old Serbian wunderkind consistently delivered in the biggest moments. After exploding for 11 points in a crucial Day 1 win over Skyliners (GER), Borovicanin continued to shine throughout the knockout rounds with his elite shooting, physicality and energy.

He helped Hangzhou survive a dramatic overtime Quarter-Final against Baskets Bonn (GER), powered them past Crvena Zvezda (SRB) in the Semi-Finals and then scored 8 points in the Final against Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy (MGL).

Borovicanin finished the tournament ranked first overall in player value (45.2) and total points scored (34), while also producing 18 highlights throughout the weekend.

His electrifying performances and leadership proved instrumental in Hangzhou Jingwei securing this major result.

WARSAW (Poland) – Mikaylah Williams was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the FIBA 3×3 World Cup 2026 after leading USA to the women’s title in Warsaw.

The United States star earned the honor following a series of outstanding performances throughout the tournament, playing a pivotal role in her team’s championship run.

Led by Williams, who hit the decisive game-winner, the USA captured their fourth FIBA 3×3 World Cup crown. The Americans edged out Australia 21-20 in a tense Final.

The tournament’s standout performers were honored in the Team of the Tournament, where Williams was joined by Australia’s Amy Atwell, the event’s top scorer with 49 points. The Netherlands’ Noortje Driessen completed the lineup after leading her team to a 21-14 victory over Azerbaijan to secure the bronze.

ULAANBAATAR (Mongolia) – Stefan Milivojevic of Liman (SRB) produced a sensational weekend at the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Ulaanbaatar 2026, earning Most Valuable Player honors after leading his team to the title at the Sukhbaatar Square.

Milivojevic was the driving force behind Liman becoming the first team to win two FIBA 3×3 World Tour stops in 2026. The Serbian powerhouse recovered from a narrow Day 1 loss to Toulouse (FRA) before storming through the knockout rounds, defeating Shanghai (CHN), DeQing (CHN) and hometown favorites Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy (MGL) to capture the crown.

When the pressure was at its highest, Milivojevic delivered.

The dynamic playmaker erupted for 10 points in the Quarter-Finals against Shanghai before coming up clutch once again in the Final, scoring the two decisive putbacks in overtime to seal a thrilling 17-15 victory over Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy.

Throughout the tournament, Milivojevic was everywhere for Liman. He finished second overall with 31 points and a player value of 51.1 while leading the competition in both highlights (29) and drives (13). He also ranked third in key assists with 14, underlining his all-around impact on the tournament.

His heroics earned him the MVP trophy and capped another memorable chapter in Liman’s remarkable 2026 campaign.
