MACAU (China) – Ub (SRB) added another chapter to their World Tour legacy, defeating Shanghai (CHN) 21-15 in the Final of the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Macau 2026 on October 18. The victory delivered Ub’s third World Tour stop win of the 2026 season and their third Macau title, following their triumphs in 2023 and 2024.

The Serbian powerhouse once again proved their championship pedigree, navigating a challenging knockout phase before sealing the title. Marko Brankovic earned MVP honors after delivering an outstanding all-around performance throughout the tournament, finishing among the leaders in player value, total points and two-pointers made.

Macau hosted a World Tour stop for the fourth time, with this year’s edition marking the first time the competition was staged at the historic Ruins of Saint Paul’s.

Ub began their Sunday campaign with a commanding 22-13 victory over DeQing (CHN) in the Quarter-Finals. Brankovic led the way with 11 points, including four two-pointers, as Ub established control early and advanced comfortably to the Semi-Finals.

Their next challenge came against Skyliners (GER), who had eliminated Amsterdam RABOBANK (NED) 20-16 in the Quarter-Finals. Stefan Kojic scored eight points to lead Skyliners, but Ub found another gear in the closing minutes of their Semi-Final. After the teams were tied at 12-all midway through the contest, Ub mounted a decisive run to pull away and win 21-15. Nenad Nerandzic led the Serbians with eight points as they booked their place in the Final.

On the other side of the bracket, Shanghai (CHN) reached their first World Tour Final of the season after a pair of hard-fought victories. They edged Taipei WanBao (TPE) 21-18 in the Quarter-Finals, with Cameron Forte scoring 10 points, before overcoming Miami (USA) 21-18 in the Semi-Finals. Forte added seven points in the latter contest, while Lu Pengcheng helped Shanghai close out the win.

Miami had reached the Semi-Finals with a convincing 21-11 victory over home favorites Cotai WOLFUNITED (MAC), led by Riley Battin’s nine points. Their run ended in the Semi-Finals against Shanghai, setting up the championship matchup between Shanghai and Ub.

In the Final, Brankovic helped fuel the Serbians’ push, while Strahinja Stojacic finished with seven points and closed out the contest at the free-throw line.

Brankovic earns MVP honors

Marko Brankovic was named MVP of the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Macau 2026 after a highly productive tournament for Ub. He finished with a player value of 47.7, ranking second overall, while his 36 points and eight two-pointers made also placed him second in the competition. Brankovic was particularly influential in the knockout phase, pouring in 11 points against DeQing in the Quarter-Finals and combining with Stojacic to help Ub advance through the bracket. His consistent scoring and impact at both ends of the floor proved central to Ub’s championship run.

Toni Blazan of Vienna (AUT) won the Shootout Contest presented by Starmac, scoring 14 points to claim the title. Meanwhile, Piotr ‘Grabo’ Grabowski captured the Slam Dunk Contest presented by Starmac, earning his second Slam Dunk Contest victory of the 2026 World Tour season.
