BEIJING (China) – The race for spots at the FIBA 3×3 World Tour enters another crucial stage as the FIBA 3×3 Beijing Challenger 2026 brings a loaded international field to Shougang Park, with three tickets to FIBA 3×3 World Tour Zaisan 2026 on the line.

As the 20th Challenger of the 2026 Pro Circuit, Beijing offers another major opportunity for teams to strengthen their FIBA 3×3 World Tour campaigns, with established contenders and rising challengers set to battle for the title.

Contenders Collide

The field is headlined by some of the highest-ranked teams in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour 2026 standings.

Amsterdam RABOBANK (NED) arrive as the No. 3 team overall, having established themselves as one of the season’s most consistent sides. They will face a major challenge from Baskets Bonn (GER), who sit fourth overall and head to Beijing fresh from a statement victory at the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Lausanne 2026.

Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy (MGL), ranked seventh, will also be among the teams to watch, while Shanghai (CHN) bring home-court advantage as the No. 8 team in the standings.

Raudondvaris Hoptrans (LTU), currently ninth overall, add another proven contender to the field, while Toronto (CAN), Hangzhou Jingwei (CHN) and Crvena Zvezda (SRB) further strengthen a tournament packed with World Tour-caliber talent.

With the top teams separated by relatively little in the season standings, Beijing could have significant implications for the race to the business end of the 2026 season.

Star Power on Show

The tournament also features a collection of some of the most experienced and recognizable players in the 3×3 basketball scene.

Amsterdam RABOBANK will look to Worthy de Jong to provide his trademark swag, scoring and playmaking, while Raudondvaris Hoptrans can rely on Ignas Vaitkus, one of the most dangerous offensive players on the circuit.

Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy will have playmaking wizard Nauris Miezis leading the charge, while Baskets Bonn’s high-flying star Fabian Giessmann arrives with confidence following the team’s WT Lausanne triumph.

Toronto’s Westher Molteni brings veteran experience and physicality, while Shanghai’s Wu Xingrui will be one of the key players to watch for home fans.

Hangzhou Jingwei will turn to Vuk Borovićanin, while Milos Antic adds another experienced presence to a Crvena Zvezda team capable of challenging any opponent in the field.
