FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series Orléans 2026 promises fireworks with loaded 16-team field | About FIBA

ORLEANS (France) – The FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series 2026 heads to Orléans on June 19-20 with another highly competitive field featuring 16 teams eager to continue their push up the standings. Led by top seed Neftchi SOCAR (AZE), the tournament brings together established contenders, experienced national teams and ambitious challengers looking to make a statement on French soil.

Neftchi SOCAR arrive as the No.1 seed after consistently proving themselves among the FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series elite this season. The Azerbaijani powerhouse will face stiff competition from second-seeded Amsterdam (NED), who continue to establish themselves as one of Europe’s strongest squads, while Spain (ESP) enter as the third seed and will once again be among the favorites thanks to their proven international pedigree.

China’s Beijing (CHN) have been one of the most exciting teams on the circuit and enter the tournament as the fourth seed. Chile (CHI) and Italy (ITA) round out the top six and both possess the talent and experience required to challenge for a podium finish.

The home fans will have plenty to cheer for with Paris Région IDF (FRA) seeded seventh and France U25 (FRA) also joining the field. Paris Région IDF have a chance to showcase their ability to compete with top-level opposition, while the French youngsters will be eager to gain valuable experience against some of the best teams on the FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series.

Uganda (UGA) enter as the eighth seed and will look to continue the strong progress they have shown on the international stage. They are joined by Mitsubishi Electric (JPN), Ireland (IRL), Kenya (KEN), Hungary (HUN), Prague (CZE), Slovakia (SVK) and Puerto Rico (PUR), all of whom are capable of producing upsets at the Place du Martroi.

With ranking points, prize money and momentum all on the line, fans can expect another entertaining stop in the FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series 2026. Featuring a balanced mix of title contenders, emerging teams and local favorites, Orléans is set to provide two days of high-level 3×3 basketball action.
